    Doordarshan Commercial Service Doordarshan Commercial Service is an independent office stationed at DG: DD Headquarters to co-ordinate all the commercial activities of Doordarshan towards collection of revenue from agencies/clients/producers as well as revenue sharing in case of sports events. The revenue earned from National and Regional DD Channels is centralised collected in DCS.

    This office also allows registration and accreditation status to various advertising agencies.

    Main Functions of Doordarshan Commercial Service

    • Centralized collection of revenue from Government/ Corporate Clients.
    • Accreditation and Registration of Advertising Agencies.
    • Scheduling of Programmes.
    • Billing and Reconciliation.
    • Managing and monitoring traffic, scheduling, billing and payment.
