PBNS & DP, the digital arm of Prasar Bharati-India’s Public Service Broadcaster, is committed for dissemination of News and other information of public interest in multimedia format to the masses through its news services and social media operations. Media content in the genres like News, music, dance, drama, interviews, short films, documentaries, feature films etc. produced at various Akashvani and Doordarshan Kendras across India is also promoted, disseminated through these digital services under operation. The platforms through which services are offered include News-on-Air web portal, News on AIR Mobile Application (Android/iOS), Twitter, Telegram, YouTube, FaceBook, Instagram, Koo, etc.

This wing of organisation also undertakes development, deployment and support in respect of required IT infrastructure/services in order to optimise and automate news gathering/broadcast systems within the organisation as well as dissemination of corporate and other information to the public.
