Pt. Jagdish Prasad Varman Hindustani Classical Music Mr. Jagdish Prasad Varman is a veteran musician of Hindustani Classical Music. He was born in jodhpur- a royal state in Rajasthan in a family with rich musical traditions. Both his parents were well- established musicians. From his childhood he showed rare musical talent and used to carry flute in his school bag. He was given formal training by Mr. Inderlal. Later he had intensive training under stalwarts of three major gharanas namely- Mr. Jefdar Khan of Gwalior gharana, Mr. Bundhu khan of Seniya gharana and Mr. Jeevan Lal Mattu of kirana gharana.
